ParkInTown is developing a smart parking network platform that helps parking facilities establish a digital presence, attract more customers and partners, and optimize their operations. Our app provides drivers with real-time parking information, enabling them to find, reserve, and pay for parking easily—saving time and eliminating frustration.
Urban drivers waste time, fuel, and patience searching for available parking, while parking owners struggle with no digital presence, high cost, outdated infrastructure, and low annual turnover based on small parking slot capacity. Municipalities are already using smart parking systems to manage, monitor, and optimize public parking effectively. This gap and the private parking ecosystem contribute to traffic congestion, pollution, driver frustration, and lost revenue opportunities for parking space owners. The growth of digital mobility services only amplifies the need for a smarter, interconnected parking network.
ParkInTown is a smart parking management platform that connects drivers with parking locations within a single digital ecosystem. Our system offers real-time parking availability, reservations, mobile payments, and access control through an app and license plate recognition. Parking locations benefit from a robust backend that streamlines operations, monetization, and reporting. The vision is to establish a Network that enables drivers and parking locations to connect, navigate, and park efficiently while providing modern drivers with convenience and transparency, increasing the revenues of parking facilities, and offering better customer service.
ParkInTown is positioned within the rapidly growing smart parking industry, which is projected to exceed €10 billion in Europe by 2030. Initial efforts are being concentrated in Cyprus, where approximately 950 private parking locations have been identified. Two primary user segments are being targeted: 220,000 urban drivers aged 18–55 and 150,000 annual tourists, together representing a local market estimated at over €20 million. A B2B2C model is being utilized to engage both parking owners (such as private operators, shopping centers, and hotels) and end-users through a unified platform. Over the next three years, more than 25% of the Cypriot market is expected to be captured. Following the successful deployment of Cyprus’s first smart parking system in Pafos, expansion into Greece and other Southern European cities facing similar urban parking challenges is being planned, with significant regional growth potential anticipated.
Most competitors are focused either on hardware installation or on parking apps, with an integrated platform often lacking. A full-stack solution—from mobile app to management dashboard—is offered by ParkInTown, supported by proven deployments. Unlike marketplace-only models, the infrastructure is digitized and operated directly, ensuring full control and consistent value delivery.
In 2025, ParkInTown is focused on accelerating adoption, expanding city coverage, and validating key business models to drive long-term scalability.
In the short term (Q2–Q3 2025), 30 live parking locations are targeted across Cyprus, with a goal of surpassing 6,000 active users through both paid and organic acquisition strategies. Mobile payment functionality is being introduced, alongside zero-digital onboarding for parking operators to minimize adoption friction. This period also initiates structured business model validation, with two revenue streams—Monthly Passes for B2C users and B2B listing offers for private parking owners—being tested. A Pre-Seed Funding round of €150K is being sought to strengthen marketing and technical capabilities, while platform expansion is planned across five major cities: Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, Paralimni, and Ayia Napa.
By the mid-term (Q4 2025), a full rollout of the Parking-as-a-Service (PaaS) subscription is planned, enabling seamless access to a broad network of partner locations. Over 50 private parking operators are expected to be onboarded, significantly expanding the platform’s reach. To improve automation and enforcement, license plate recognition and parking violation detection systems will be deployed. Strategic partnerships with barrier system distributors and technicians will also be formalized to support hardware integrations. The focus will then shift to optimizing LTV/CAC ratios and preparing for a Seed funding round, positioning ParkInTown as the leading smart parking platform in Cyprus and beyond.
ParkInTown’s exit strategy has been structured to provide investors with a clear and achievable path to returns, aligned with our scaling roadmap and market position. As platform expansion continues across Cyprus and high-margin revenue streams—such as B2C subscriptions and B2B listing services—are validated, growth is expected in both user adoption and partnerships with over 50 private parking operators within the next 12 months.
The platform’s value is anchored in strong network effects, real-time data capabilities, integrated mobile payments, and three tiers of parking infrastructure compatibility. These assets position ParkInTown as a compelling acquisition target for:
Mobility Tech Companies seeking to incorporate parking into ride-hailing, micromobility, or autonomous vehicle ecosystems;
Urban Infrastructure and Smart City Integrators developing holistic IoT and transport solutions;
Payment and Fintech Providers interested in recurring location-based micro-transactions;
Parking Hardware Manufacturers aiming to bundle advanced software with existing physical products.
With scalable infrastructure and recurring revenues from our Parking-as-a-Service (PaaS) model, ParkInTown is positioned for acquisition or strategic merger within 3–5 years. Longer-term exit paths—including venture-backed Series A/B rounds and potential IPO—remain viable, especially as Mediterranean expansion progresses. This strategy provides investors with both equity growth and a structured, realistic route to liquidity.
ParkInTown generates revenue through multiple streams:
1. Parking Sessions – €4 per transaction: €3 to the parking owner, €0.51 for transaction and tax fees, and €0.49 net to ParkInTown.
2. Monthly Subscriptions – A fixed fee of 55€ for unlimited access to participating parking spots with Variable pricing and our Camera system.
3. Pre-Booking Fees – A fixed fee of 2€ for a Reservation-based revenue stream.
4. Licensing to Private Companies – Use of our platform for internal parking management for 8€/month/Slot
5. Advertising in Parking Spaces – Monetizing visibility at partner locations.
ParkInTown is led by Nikolaos Felessakis, a passionate entrepreneur. He brings over 8 years of experience in digital solutions, IoT, and public-sector innovation. As the sole founder, he has been running the ParkInTown part-time for over 2 years, following the successful implementation of Cyprus’ first smart parking system in Pafos. Nikolaos blends strategic vision with hands-on execution across product development, partnerships, and funding.
The idea for ParkInTown was sparked by personal frustration. As both a driver and a technologist, the inefficiencies of urban parking—especially in high-tourism countries like Cyprus, with 1 million residents and 6 million annual visitors—became evident, particularly during the implementation of the country’s first smart parking system. That experience highlighted the clear demand for better parking solutions and exposed the limitations of outdated infrastructure.
ParkInTown was launched to address this challenge at scale. Initially developed as a side project while working full-time, the concept matured over two years through conversations with municipalities, drivers, and parking owners. The company is currently self-funded and bootstrapped, with pre-seed funding now being sought. What drives this effort is a broader mission: to build a digital parking network that not only simplifies today’s parking challenges but also enables future urban mobility systems and autonomous vehicles to navigate cities efficiently. ParkInTown aims to become a core platform for sustainable, future-ready urban transportation.
