At BCSizing, the fashion industry is being revolutionized through the use of advanced technology to produce perfectly fitted garments for every body shape. A unique CAD CAM sizing system, supported by a PhD study and extensive data analysis, is utilized to reduce production lead times by two-thirds. As a result, clothing is produced more quickly, while fit is improved, leading to fewer returns and increased customer satisfaction. With an emphasis on efficiency, a sustainable business model is enabled, allowing the fashion industry’s carbon footprint to be improved through reduced returns and unsold inventory, ultimately lowering carbon emissions and wastewater while increasing profit margins.

The fashion industry, worth $1.3 trillion, still fails to provide well-fitting clothing for diverse body shapes. Women struggle to find clothes that fit properly, leading to high return rates, customer dissatisfaction, and excessive textile waste. Existing pattern-making software does not solve the issue of fit.
BCSizing is an advanced AutoCAD software that digitizes pattern-making to create clothing tailored to real body diversity. It optimizes fit, reduces production time, and minimizes waste. Built on PhD-backed research, BCSizing ensures garments fit 79% of women better than industry standards, bridging the gap between technology and fashion craftsmanship.
The global womenswear market size was valued at approximately USD 1.3 trillion, with the CAD market USD 11 billion, in 2023. Estimated 7,644,677 fashion companies. BCSizing aims to target small designer labels to retailers and brands, as well as universities and students. Our first target is universities to teach the next generation of designers. By serving both universities and fashion companies, we will offer a comprehensive solution for the fashion industry from concept to production.
BCSizing is a digital pattern cutting software, from the first pattern through to mass production. By taking the whole process of clothing production digital, we not only save time and space we improve the fit. We focus on mass production, providing fully graded size sets for clothing. While 3D technology has transformed preproduction by working with model size avatars, it does not impact the full-size range used in mass production. Despite digital advancements, the core issue of inconsistent clothing fit remains unresolved, BCSizing addresses this gap.

BCSizing represents the culmination of a lifetime’s work. The journey began with a publication in 2013, followed by a PhD focused on the sizing of women’s clothing by Dr Tanya Dove. A major industry problem was identified, and a solution was pursued—not just for customization, but to create a system that fits the masses. The founding team of BCSizing was formed in 2024. Michail, an MBA graduate, brought energy and a strong desire to learn and grow, working closely to develop the business side of BCSizing. In August 2024, Vince joined as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) following a recommendation. His contributions have far surpassed expectations, playing a key role in bringing BCSizing to life.
